"This is important step to final decision we expect soon," - Poroshenko on LIBE’s recommendation on visa liberalization for Ukraine

The decision of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament (LIBE) regarding visa-free travel for Ukrainians is an important step towards its eventual introduction.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"I couldn't ask for a better birthday present: the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs supported granting visa-free travel for Ukrainians. This is an important step to a final decision, which we expect in the near future," the head of state said.
Earlier, Sept. 26, LIBE committee recommended the European Parliament to waive visas for Ukrainians.
