At least three persons were injured in clashes between protesters and law enforcers near Ukraine's parliamentary building on Tuesday.
This was announced by ambulance workers who were on duty in the governmental block in Kyiv today, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
The doctors told about an elderly man who had his head bandaged. He left home on his own, they say, but has probably suffered a concussion. Another man needed to have his eyes bathed after he was sprayed tear gas on. One police officer lost consciousness.
Fighters of former Donbas battalion grabbed away about 30 shields from law enforcers. They fell into a single line between the Verkhovna Rada building and 14 Hrushevskoho Street.
The situation calmed down after 4:30 p.m. Many people were filming the developments with their cell phones.
Representatives of Rukh Novykh Syl party brought about 20 new tents and intend to place them in Mariinsky park near the parliament building.
