The Ukrainian Hub of Digital Education Centres has officially opened in Athens. It will teach relevant skills to refugees of all ages. Ukrainian schoolchildren will be able to catch up on their studies.

This is reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

"The network of Ukrainian educational hubs (Digital Learning Centres - DLC) implements the concept of Life Long Learning to develop Ukraine's human capital. Both children and adults can study and acquire relevant skills in the centres. Schoolchildren can also catch up on their studies in an interactive and informative way," the statement said.

As noted, the hub in Greece is the twenty-first institution in the network of Ukrainian educational hubs that have been operating since the beginning of the war. They are located both in Ukraine and abroad: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Austria, and the United Kingdom.

Maria Bohuslav, coordinator of the Ukrainian educational hubs, said that their big goal is to open them in all regions of Ukraine and in those countries where there are the most Ukrainian children. Communities that have suffered the most from the war are especially in need of such centres.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Greece noted that the hub has created conditions for Ukrainian children who are currently in Greece. There, they can study and receive education under the Ukrainian state curriculum, acquire soft skills, learn foreign languages at courses and conversation clubs, improve their skills, etc. The centre also provides an opportunity for young Ukrainians to get together offline and share a part of their native Ukrainian atmosphere.
