An emergency occurred in Kyiv on Oleksandr Dovzhenko Street during the reconstruction of the Dehtyarivskyi overpass, when beams collapsed during installation.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, Censor.NET reports.
Experts are investigating the cause of the collapse. Emergency services are also working at the scene.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Construction of the Degtyarivskyi overpass began in July. The width of the bridge had to be widened from 28 metres to 40 metres to accommodate bicycle lanes and sidewalks. The main construction work was scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. The old overpass was completely dismantled. The cost of the reconstruction of the junction with the construction of a new overpass was announced on the Prozorro portal at UAH 934 million.
