He said this on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I awarded 99 servicemen of the 112th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 114th and 241st separate brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with medals "Honor. Glory. State" medals. These units, formed with the support of the capital, were among the first to join the defense of Kyiv. They defended our country in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions, on the Kupiansk and Bakhmut directions. Some of them participated in the multi-level air defense of Kyiv region and the capital," said Klytschko.
The Mayor of Kyiv congratulated the servicemen on their professional holiday.
"We are extremely grateful to you for your professionalism, courage and strength of character. You risk your lives so that our children can live in a free and democratic Ukraine. You are protecting the European future of our country," Klytschko emphasized.
He also mentioned the fallen heroes.
"The price of freedom is very high. We remember and honor all the heroes who gave their lives in the battles for Ukraine. We help the soldiers who are fighting on the front line today. And the veterans who need our attention and support," emphasized the mayor of Kyiv.
