According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Eastern Operational and Territorial Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
It is noted that the unmanned aerial vehicle, which was moving from the temporarily occupied territories towards the positions of Ukrainian troops, was spotted by artillerymen of the observation group.
"The enemy UAV was hit by precise shots from three servicemen with small arms, namely AK-74. Exploding in the sky, the remains of the Lancet fell 30 metres from its target," the statement said.
In this area of the frontline, the occupiers' UAVs such as "ZALA", "Orlan" and "Lancet" have to be fired upon almost daily with small arms.
"According to the servicemen, it is almost impossible to destroy such a target in the sky with a Kalashnikov rifle. However, this proves that the soldiers of the Spartan Offensive Guard are ready to skillfully perform various combat missions," the National Guard added.
