This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
As noted, in the centre, you can find out all the latest information about vacancies in the army, talk to representatives of brigades and choose your desired profession in the army.
The centre is located at 67 Kostia Levytskoho Street. In the future, it is planned to launch such centres throughout Ukraine.
"The army needs motivated people who consciously make their choice to serve in a particular position in a particular unit. According to opinion polls, the vast majority of Ukrainians are ready to join the defence of their homeland, provided they have a choice, take into account their experience and speciality, and understand with whom and where to serve. Recruitment is about voluntary and conscious choice. We will maximise our recruitment activities in other cities of Ukraine, open recruitment centres, and tell people about the opportunities available to find their place in the defence of the state," said Nataliia Kalmykova, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Social Development, during the project presentation.
The Ministry of Defence noted that recruiters work at the centre every day to provide information on vacancies in the army, provide consultations and career guidance tests.
The centre will have no relation to the structures of the TCC, and the recruiters themselves are not military personnel. Therefore, they will not issue summonses, but will only provide consultations, the Ministry of Defence press service said.
The recruitment centres will recruit Ukrainian men and women to the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine by signing a contract with the relevant military unit. Currently, it is possible to sign both fixed-term contracts and contracts until demobilisation is announced.
"Our task is to do everything possible to ensure that a person who goes to serve in a particular position in a particular military unit actually gets there. This is what this initiative is all about. We, as the Ministry of Defence, will scale it up as much as possible, because this is a pilot project, and we are very grateful to Lviv for this cooperation. The next cities will be Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Odesa, Kyiv, and Poltava," added Oleksii Bezhevets, recruitment coordinator for the Ukrainian army at the Ministry of Defence.
