Remote demining complex Ratel Deminer has been tested and identified as priority for Security and Defense Forces - Fedorov. PHOTOS
This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, Ratel Deminer is a mine trawler that finds and neutralizes anti-personnel mines. It works remotely, which means it saves the lives of the military. The complex is equipped with a daytime vision camera, which helps to better control it. Ratel Deminer destroys mines of the PFM-1, PMN-4, PMN-3 and PMN-2 types.
The developers have already tested Ratel Deminer in real-world conditions: the system was used for humanitarian demining from anti-personnel mines near Sviatohirsk, Donetsk Oblast.
Fedorov said that Ratel Deminer has received the BRV1 status, which means that the development has been prioritized for the Security and Defense Forces. Now the system is being finalized and its capacity is being increased.
"This is not the first development from this manufacturer that has made its way to Brave1. The Ratel S and Ratel M ground robots have been codified and are actively used by the troops," Fedorov added.
