A group of Ukrainian pilots has completed training in the UK. Soon they will go on combat missions.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

According to Zaluzhnyi, he and Luke Pollard, Under Secretary of State for the Armed Forces, took part in the graduation ceremony of the 3rd cohort of pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force, which took place at RAF Cranwell.

"Very soon, these guys will go into battle, and we will all pray that they will return from their combat missions. We will pray, but you will fly, fight and win. I hope you have learnt this well," Zaluzhnyi wrote.

The Ambassador also thanked the British government and people for their continued support of Ukraine.

"It is thanks to this support that we continue to fight," Zaluzhnyi added.

In mid-September, it was reported that a group of Ukrainian pilots had begun theoretical training on F-16 fighter jets in Romania, and by the end of 2024 they could start practical training.
