On 14 November, the enemy launched a massive missile and drone attack on the city centre.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the National Police of Ukraine and the head of the Internal Affairs Department, Oleh Kiper.
A church, residential buildings, a shop, garages, a main heating pipeline, and vehicles were damaged. Windows were smashed in the buildings, some of the balconies and roofs caught fire.
"Unfortunately, one woman was killed and ten other people were injured, including a boy. The exact number of victims is being clarified," the police said.
According to Kiper, a 9-year-old boy is in hospital in moderate condition. Among the adult victims, a 22-year-old man is in serious condition, and other injured in moderate condition have been taken to medical facilities in the city and region. They are being provided with all necessary assistance.
As a result of the evening attack: an apartment building in the centre of Odesa was destroyed, apartments caught fire, high-rise buildings, about three dozen cars were damaged, and a fire broke out on the territory of a public institution and a two-storey building.
The main district heating pipeline was also damaged by hostile shelling. The boiler house was temporarily shut down.
