Large batch of equipment worth UAH 78 million to be handed over to soldiers in East. PHOTOS
The fifth president and leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, has prepared another batch of equipment for the frontline brigades.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the European Solidarity.
"The 1000th day of Ukrainian resistance to the Russian army and not only the army is coming soon. While some people are preparing patriotic posts on social media or planning to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia, our team is preparing another trip to the East. We are going to visit our friends - the paratroopers, marines, infantry, and artillery," the statement reads.
As noted, every week Poroshenko's team brings cargo worth more than UAH 30 million to one of the hot destinations. This time, the convoy cost 78 million:
- 2300 FPV drones
- Night Mavicas
- diesel stoves
- 6 excavators to dig kilometres of new defence lines
- quad bikes for the supply of ammunition and evacuation of the wounded
- laundry and shower complexes
- generators
- Ecoflow charging stations
- electronics.
"Every day of these thousands of days, our team lives at the frontline: purchasing weapons, dealing with logistics, figuring out how to deliver equipment to our soldiers. While the government is increasing spending on salaries for security forces, we are convinced that the only ones who can truly defend the state are the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are working for them," Poroshenko said.
"And about the current situation. We are announcing a competition: the first person to capture a North Korean mercenary will receive 20 3T Mavic night-vision guns from Maryna and me," the fifth president summed up.
