On the night of Saturday, 16 November 2024, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with attack drones.
This was reported by the head of the KCMA Serhii Popko on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
He recalls that the air raid in the capital lasted almost 3 hours. During this time, the defense forces detected and neutralized up to a dozen enemy UAVs in the airspace around the city.
Consequences of an enemy attack
According to the KCMA, the attack caused damage to residential infrastructure in the Obolon district of the capital. Balconies and windows in a multi-story residential building were damaged by falling debris. There was no information on casualties.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the evening of Friday, 15 November, Russian invaders launched Shahed strike UAVs into Ukraine. It was also reported that air defense forces were working in Kyiv at night.
