The 13th GRAU arsenal could have been attacked on the night of 20 November 2024 in the village of Kotovo, Novgorod region of the Russian Federation.
This is reported by local residents, Censor.NET informs with reference to ASTRA.
Photos and videos allegedly from the village of Kotovo, Okulivsky district, Novgorod region, appeared in local chat rooms on the night of 19-20 November. The images show explosions and flashes, ASTRA notes. Videos from other settlements in the region also appeared.
"Local residents claim that the attack was aimed at a military base," the newspaper writes, noting that it cannot confirm the accuracy of the information at this time.
It is also noted that Kotove has hangars with ammunition from the 13th arsenal of the GRAU.
The governor of the region traditionally did not confirm the attack on the arsenal.
"Russian Defence Ministry air defence forces detected and destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles over the Novgorod region. Law enforcement and security forces are working on the spot. There are no casualties or injuries," the head of the Russian region wrote at 3am.

The administration of the Kotovo village settlement in Novgorod region told ASTRA that residents of the village of Kotovo were evacuated after the attack by the Ukrainian armed forces. The authorities did not provide any details, noting only that they are still investigating the consequences of the attack.
