Under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor's office, four people who helped persons liable for military service avoid mobilisation and cross the border were served suspicion notices.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.
In Kyiv, one of the suspects offered to organise a boat ride across the border through Vinnytsia region outside the checkpoint for USD 10,000.
Another offered fictitious employment for mobilisation reservations for the same amount, and for an additional $10,000 - organisation of business trips abroad. He even guaranteed to pay back $8,000 if he returned from the business trip. For one of them, the man helped to organise the removal from the military register.
During a control operation in a Kyiv restaurant, the SSU documented the transfer of USD 10,000 for the trafficking and USD 48,000 for booking two people to the suspects.
In Zaporizhzhia, a local resident offered to arrange inpatient treatment with a fictitious diagnosis for USD 18,000. This allowed his clients to avoid mobilisation by being excluded from military registration.
In Prykarpattia, a man promised to "solve the issue" of expediting the assignment of a disability group to the mother of a military serviceman he knew for $3,000. He agreed with MSEC officials to issue a certificate for a year and promised to extend it later.
All suspects were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
They are accused of assisting in the organisation of the illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine, aiding and abetting in the receipt of illegal benefits by an official and abuse of influence (Article 15(3), Article 332(3), Article 27(5), Article 368(1), Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The involvement of other persons in the crimes is currently being checked.
