"November 21 was a difficult day for patients, their parents and the staff of the rehabilitation center in Dnipro. Instead of the usual daily routine and classes, today they are eliminating the consequences of an enemy missile attack," said Serhii Lysak, head of the RMA.
He noted that several dozen windows in the building were smashed. The roof is damaged in some places. In the kitchen, where yesterday people with disabilities were taught how to heat or cook lunch, the dishes were smashed.
The boiler room on the premises suffered the most damage.
"The equipment and communications have survived. However, the very room where the specialist who maintains the equipment is supposed to be constantly located is smashed. Miraculously, no one was injured in the facility. The staff and patients who were there managed to get to the shelter. There were seven of them, because most of them undergo rehabilitation during the day," Lysak said.
