RF Defense Ministry confirms ATACMS strikes in Kursk region: "Retaliatory actions are being prepared". PHOTOS
The Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed that the Ukrainian Defence Forces attacked military facilities in the Kursk region with ATACMS missiles.
This is stated in a statement by the Ministry, Censor.NET reports.
They noted that on 23 November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 5 ATACMS missiles at the position of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile division near the village of Lotarivka. The radar was damaged and there were casualties.
According to the occupying country's Ministry of Defence, three missiles were allegedly destroyed and two hit their targets.
On 25 November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 8 ATACMS missiles at the Kursk-Vostochny airfield. According to the occupiers, 7 missiles were allegedly shot down and one hit. As a result, 2 soldiers were wounded.
"The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is monitoring the situation, and retaliatory actions are being prepared," they concluded.

On 25 November, Russian media reported that ATACMS missiles destroyed an air defence system in Kursk region, killing four Russian soldiers.

The White House said the United States had changed its guidance to Ukraine and allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use US ATACMS ballistic missiles to hit targets in the Kursk region of Russia.
