During a working visit to the frontline in the Donetsk region, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi presented state awards to the servicemen of the 414th separate regiment of strike unmanned aerial systems "Birds of Madiar".
The head of the department announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"On the battlefield, they demonstrate innovative and technological superiority over the enemy. Their skills in defending Ukraine are recognised both by the citizens of our country and internationally by our partners and allies," he stressed.
Syrskyi stated that he personally worked with commanders in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions in the Donetsk region.
The purpose of the trip is to communicate personally with commanders, solve problems and provide comprehensive assistance.
The Commander-in-Chief expressed his gratitude to the servicemen of the Madiar Birds for their personal achievements and overall effectiveness in the battles against the Russian invaders.
"I am convinced that the soldiers of the Madiar Birds will continue to apply innovative approaches and share best practices with other Ukrainian servicemen in order to defeat the Russian occupiers," added Syrskyi.
