Five accomplices of Russian special services were detained in Kirovohrad and Vinnytsia regions. They tried to damage the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukrposhta.
This was reported by the press service of the SSU, Censor.NET reports.
The perpetrators used flammable mixtures, which were made according to the instructions of the occupiers. After carrying out the arson attacks, the perpetrators hoped to receive money from their Russian handlers. However, instead of the promised funds from Russia, they received suspicion from Ukrainian law enforcement.

The detainees were served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage committed by a group of persons under martial law).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
