Ukrainian defence forces destroy Russian "Osa-AKM" air defence system with precision strike. VIDEO&PHOTOS
The Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted a precision strike on a Russian "Osa-AKM" anti-aircraft missile system that was trying to hide in a shelter.
The corresponding video was published by the press service of the 411th separate battalion of unmanned aerial systems "Yastruby", Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the movement of the enemy SAM to the hideout was tracked by a reconnaissance drone under the control of operators of the 1st Unmanned Reconnaissance System regiment. The strike on the building where the air defence system was located was carried out with high accuracy. The recorded footage shows the use of a high-precision munition, but its type has not been disclosed.
The strike resulted in a massive explosion that destroyed a building that served as a hidden position for Russian "Osa-AKM". The Ukrainian drone monitored the site of the strike in real time and adjusted its fire.
A new unmanned systems regiment is currently being formed in the 411th separate battalion, "Yastruby". The unit is recruiting for a wide range of positions, from engineers and UAV operators to drivers and sappers.
