On the evening of 23 December, Russians complained of an attack by "unknown drones". Local residents heard explosions near the Millerovo airfield.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Russian media.

Thus, a local telegram channel wrote that a fire had started on one of the streets as a result of falling debris.

The channel's subscribers also reported that the building of the Miller Cossack Cadet Vocational College was damaged, and students were being evacuated from their dormitory.

At the same time, Russia's Ministry of Defence said that nine drones were allegedly shot down by air defences.

The acting governor of Rostov region, Yury Slyusar, said that Russian air defence had allegedly shot down eight drones in the Millerovo area. According to him, there were no casualties.

As a reminder, on the night of 22 December, drones attacked the Rostov region of Russia, in particular the Stalnoy Kon oil depot. Local residents also reported explosions in Kazan and Rostov.

Also on 18 December, explosions were heard in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. OSINT analysts said that for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, one of the largest chemical enterprises in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky was attacked.
