A fatal accident involving a car and a truck occurred in the village of Nastashyne in the Prykarpattia region. 5 people were killed.

"Upon arrival at the scene, the rescuers used emergency equipment to unblock the bodies of a 15-year-old and 18-year-old girl and three boys born in 2004, 2006 and 2008. Also, at the scene, the rescuers disconnected the terminals of the vehicles' batteries to prevent a fire.
19 rescuers and 4 units of equipment were involved in the accident elimination. A psychologist from the State Emergency Service was working at the scene to provide psychological assistance and support to eyewitnesses and relatives of the victims," the statement said.
The event is classified as a facility-level man-made emergency.
