The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, presented awards to Ukrainian infantrymen and paratroopers during his visit to Donetsk region.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in his Facebook post.
"While working in the Donetsk region, I had the honour to personally present awards to our brave infantrymen and steadfast paratroopers. These soldiers are defending one of the hottest spots on the frontline every day. Their efforts, dedication and belief in victory inspire each of us," said Syrskyi.
The Commander-in-Chief added that behind the dry figures of the reports on the occupiers' losses lies a huge, titanic combat work of these brave men and women.
"I sincerely thank our heroes for their strength of spirit and faith in our common victory! You are an example for all of us. Glory to Ukraine!" concluded Syrskyi.
Earlier, Syrskyi said that since the beginning of the year, the losses of Russian troops have exceeded 421 thousand people. In 2024, the enemy paid the highest price since the beginning of the invasion.
