Russian invaders do not stop shelling Kherson region. Over the past day, 5 January, almost 40 settlements of the region came under enemy fire.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Antonivka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Poniativka, Beryslav, Shyroka Balka, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Kizomys, Urozhaine, Prydniprovske, Naddniprianske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Veletenske, Vesele, Havrylivka, Dniprovske, Zelenivka, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Molodizhne, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Novotiahynka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Sadove, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tiahyntsi, Ukrainka, Chervonyi Maiak and the city of Kherson came under hostile fire and air strikes over the last day.
"The Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged 2 multi-storey buildings and 15 private houses. The occupiers also damaged an outbuilding and private cars.
One person died and 13 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression," Prokudin said.
On the morning of 6 January, Russian invaders shelled Zelenivka with artillery and drones, said Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson CMA.
"They were hitting residential areas. Commercial and critical infrastructure facilities and a car were damaged. One person was injured as a result of an attack by an enemy drone," the statement said.
As a result of the Russian attack, the 45-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his left arm and leg. He is currently being treated by doctors.
