On 6 January, Volodymyr Rakov, the winner of the 6th season of the popular Ukrainian show "Everybody Dance!", was killed in action for Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported on the Facebook page of the New Channel.
Volodymyr Rakov was born in Yevpatoria. In 2013, he became the winner of the sixth season of the show "Everybody Dance!". In the next two seasons, he worked with the project as a choreographer. In 2018, Volodymyr and his Wonder Crew won first place at the World of Dance competition in Berlin.
He has also worked as an assistant choreographer on "Tantsi z zirkamy" and played the role of a dancer in the Ukrainian film "Let's Dance!"
Volodymyr improved his dancing skills at the best schools in the United States, including Broadway Dance Centre in New York, Millennium in Los Angeles and Movement Lifestyle in Los Angeles.
Volodymyr Rakov participated in various dance competitions and worked as an actor in the theatre. In addition, the choreographer has appeared in music videos by such artists as Zlata Ognevich, Vitaly Kozlovsky, Nastia Kamenskykh, Dmytro Monatik and others.
Volodymyr Rakov joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the start of the Great War in 2022 and served in the 2nd Rifle Battalion of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo Halytskyi.
