On Wednesday, 16 January, cars damaged by Russian shelling will be removed from the streets of Kyiv.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, Censor.NET reports.
The official noted that more than a thousand abandoned cars have been recorded in Kyiv to date.
"Most of them have become a symbol of the criminal actions of a neighbouring terrorist for whom destruction and killing are the main goal. At the same time, many of these vehicles create serious problems: they narrow the passage for rescue equipment and spoil the appearance of streets and yards where they were left to decay," the statement said.
Tkachenko noted that on 16 January, the process of removing such vehicles will begin.
"At the next meeting of the Defence Council, together with the relevant services, we will develop an effective mechanism that will allow us to quickly remove damaged vehicles in the future," added the head of the CMA.
