On the night of 4 February, in the sky over Sumy region, air defence units shot down 14 enemy "Shahed" UAVs.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
The crash of two unmanned aerial vehicles was also recorded. One crashed on the territory of Buryn community, the other in Sumy community.
"In the first case, the blast wave damaged more than 30 windows in residential buildings and more than 20 in an educational institution.
In the second case, country houses were destroyed and damaged. All the necessary services are working, the consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified," the statement said.
Shelling of Sumy region
At night and in the morning, Russians fired 12 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 12 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Khotyn, Yunakivska, Burynska communities were shelled:
- Yunakivska community: GABs were launched (9 explosions).
- Khotyn community: GAB launch (1 explosion) was recorded.
