Fire at waste management centre in Kyiv region extinguished. VIDEO+PHOTOS (updated)
A waste management centre is on fire in the village of Fastivets, Kyiv region. The area of the fire is 400 square metres.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv region.
"Today, at 14:49, the Rescue Service of Fastiv district received a report of a fire in the village of Fastivets, on Shevchenko Street. Upon arrival, the rescuers found that the premises of the waste management centre were on fire over a total area of 400m2," the statement said.
As noted, firefighting is ongoing.
A total of 23 personnel and 7 units of equipment were engaged to extinguish the fire.
UPDATE
Later, the SES reported: "The fire was extinguished at 18:15 on the area of 400 m2. The cause of the fire is under investigation".
