The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution, which was supported by 255 votes of people's deputies. Initiative No. 12412 was approved at the plenary session.
According to the resolution, a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada is to be held on this day, which will begin with the performance of the spiritual anthem of Ukraine "God is Great, One". This will be a symbolic act of unity and spiritual strengthening of the nation in times of war.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to develop an action plan for the celebration of the National Day of Prayer, which should include representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations. Regional and city administrations will also be tasked with preparing local celebrations.
It is expected that this day will help to strengthen the patriotic spirit of Ukrainians and enhance the spiritual unity of the nation in the struggle for independence and restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
