At least 115 people died and 150 injured in a train crash in India.
Fourteen train cars derailed around 3:00 a.m. Sunday, Censor.NET reports citing BBC.

"The accident occurred in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh near the city of Kanpur. Most of the victims were located in two carriages near the engine which overturned and were badly damaged. Many passengers are stuck inside the coaches, rescuers are still trying to reach the injured and recover the dead from the twisted carriages," the statement reads.

The cause of the train crash is not yet known. The government of India announced the immediate start of the investigation of the tragedy. Authorities also will pay compensation to the families of victims.
