MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi has said former People's Front lawmaker Martynenko, arrested yesterday on corruption charges, may be bailed out.
As reported by Censor.NET, Ukrainian parliamentarians are collecting signatures in order to bail Martynenko out. The list of signatories was brought to today's court hearing by MP Fedir Bendiuzhenko.
Mykola Kniazhitskyi attended the session and said he had come to bail Martynenko out and confirmed being one of the signatories.
He said the list already included 10 MPs.

The hearing was to start at 3 p.m. today but was postponed for 1.5 hours, since Judge Oleksandr Bobrovnyk was busy with other matters.

Minister of Youth and Sports Zhdanov and Minister of Infrastructure Omelian are among those ready to join the list.
All other People's Front MPs and ministers nominated by this political force are ready to support the initiative.
They are waiting for the hearing to start outside the court building.
Neither lawyers, nor Martynenko himself have arrived yet.
