The International Monetary Fund has cautioned the Ukrainian parliament against limiting the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), which is inconsistent with the IMF program.
As reported by Censor.NET, Evropeiska Pravda obtained a copy of the letter signed by Chief of the IMF Mission to Ukraine Ron van Rooden that the Ukrainian government received on Monday, May 15.

The letter is largely devoted to the draft law No. 6220 submitted to the Ukrainian parliament. It was designed to amend the Criminal Procedure Code in order to bar NABU from investigating corruption allegations against high-ranking officials.
