Viktoriia, a unit commander of an anti-aircraft artillery platoon, nicknamed "Runa," went to the front at the age of 19 and has been fighting the occupiers from Ukrainian soil for six years in a row. The girl faced a full-scale invasion with her 56th separate motorized infantry brigade on the outskirts of Donetsk and is now holding back the enemy in the Bakhmut direction.

This is stated in the TSN report, Censor.NET reports.

Viktoriia, call sign Runa, has been defending Ukraine for 6 years. The girl decided to join the military right after school, she went to the military recruitment office and signed a contract. Now Runa is 25 years old and is a staff sergeant, a unit commander of an anti-aircraft artillery platoon. She is subordinate to 8 crew members.

The anti-aircraft gun used by the soldier and her comrades is three times older than Viktoriia. It is literally a museum piece that was taken down from its pedestal in Odesa region and sent to the front.

"The cannon is old, it was made in 1957, just like its caliber. But it works relatively well. Of course, there are wedges, but if you maintain it properly, there are usually no problems," says Runa.

"Near Bakhmut, it is used to cover our infantry, support our attack aircraft with fire, or clear forest belts from the enemy.

"Runa and the guys have been hit by enemy fire more than once, and she has a concussion. The lives of the entire crew often depend on Vika's decision.

"The main thing is to save people, and then there is the equipment and everything else," says the sergeant.
