In his evening video address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the establishment of a new professional holiday - the Day of the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to Censor.NET, the video was published on the president's Telegram channel.
"There is a solution for many of our soldiers who want to transfer to another unit in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the resolution today. Technically, the functionality is ready. The Ministry of Defense will determine how the system will be launched. Everything should work through Army+ - no bureaucracy. There should be a clear answer to every report. The Ministry of Defense must explain all the details to the public: what will happen at the first, test stage and after the full launch. All decisions of military commanders on reports will be monitored to ensure that there are no unreasonable refusals. The algorithm for responding to a report has been defined.
I also issued a decree establishing a professional day for the State Bureau of Investigation. Today is the ninth anniversary of the adoption of the law on the State Bureau of Investigation, and I thank each and every person in the SBI who cares about the state's interests and ensures greater opportunities for justice in Ukraine through their work. I honored the SBI staff with awards. Unfortunately, two of them were awarded posthumously. The guys performed tasks in the frontline area," Zelenskyy said.
