This afternoon, on 5 December, in Odesa, a man refused to show a TCR employee his military registration documents and "dragged" the serviceman on the car door. The latter was seriously injured.

This is reported by the Odesa Regional TCR and SS, Censor.NET informs.

It is noted that in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa, a serviceman of the regional TCR and SS, who was alerting the civilian population, was injured "as a result of the driver's aggressive behaviour".

"The driver aggressively refused to show his military registration documents, and then started moving the car, as a result of which he 'dragged' the serviceman on the door of the vehicle for a considerable distance," the statement said.

As a result of the incident, the serviceman suffered a concussion and had to seek medical attention. He was hospitalised.

The management of the Odesa Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support reported that they were keeping the situation under control.

The TCR condemned such "shameful behaviour towards the military personnel who defended the freedom and independence of Ukraine and were transferred to rear units for health reasons, where they do important work to ensure the country's defence capability".

"Persons committing unlawful acts against the Ukrainian military will be brought to justice in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine," the military commissariat added.
