Residents of Zdolbuniv, Rivne Oblast, greeted their fellow countryman and "Azovstal" defender Artur Niverchuk, who returned from Russian captivity, with honours.

According to Censor.NET, a video with fragments of the meeting of the Ukrainian soldier was published online.

"And in such a way in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region, they met Azovstal defender Artur Niverchuk, who spent 884 days in Russian captivity. In 2 years, the soldier changed 8 colonies in Russia, and on his birthday, before the exchange in October this year, the Russians sentenced him to life imprisonment. The last colony where he was sent by the occupiers was the "Black Dolphin", one of the most terrible special regime penal colonies for life prisoners in the Orenburg region. The Azovstal defender has now returned to Ukraine. He is undergoing rehabilitation," reads the commentary to the video.
