The defenders of the 25th separate airborne brigade showed how they were greeting and treating their comrades-in-arms on New Year's Eve in the Pokrovsk sector.

The cook of the 25th separate airborne brigade, Oleksandr (Kruiz), demonstrated a thematic dish for the mining region - carbonara pasta, a favourite dish of Italian miners.
"Usually, pancetta is used for carbonara, but we will use what we are given - smoked lard. It will also be good, because cooking is not mathematics, it can be different," he said.
The food and gifts are delivered by the "frontline crew" - the famously powerful "Vampire" drones. This is because any movement by vehicle in those positions is very risky.
The delivery is carried out by the "Rambo" crew, which set a record this year among all teams - 35 continuous flights of strike drones in 18 hours.
Bohdan (Rambo), crew chief and pilot of the strike bomber, explains: "We were created to help the front line. It is important to supply them. They are standing there to prevent anyone from getting through, and we have to provide them with everything they need to do that. I think they will enjoy it."
"I want us to have as few losses as possible next year. I want fewer rockets to fall on us. And in general, I want everyone to be alive and well... and for the frontline is moving closer and closer to my home," added Bohdan, who is originally from the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Rambo said that he himself was in the infantry, and at that time they had not yet been delivered everything they needed by bombers. He stressed that such packages, especially on New Year's Eve, are very important for the guys and seriously support them.
"It was a bad year. Because we have to retreat. And we have lost a lot of our comrades. ... I don't know how I can celebrate when most of my loved ones are here. So the only thing we had festive was New Year's presents for the guys," said Denys (Atlas), a co-pilot of a strike bomber.
