Soldiers of 67th SMB repelled assault by Russians who tried to break into Sumy region - DeepState. VIDEO
The soldiers of the 67th Separate Mechanised Brigade showed footage of the repulsion of the Russian invaders' assault across the border from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation in the direction of Zhuravka village, Sumy region.
This was reported by analysts of the DeepState monitoring project, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy amassed along the border near Zhuravka and attempted to assault the settlement, but the Defence Forces units made these attempts unsuccessful. Repeated movements are expected, as the enemy has resources there," the statement said.
It is not specified when exactly the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled the invaders' assault, but analysts note that in recent days, activity in the Kursk region has somewhat decreased compared to last week.
"Mostly, the assault operations continue in the direction of Lebedivka-Sverdlikovo and the battles for control of the village of Mykolaiv-Daryno," DeepState writes.
Earlier, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that the information that Russian troops allegedly broke through the border near the settlements of Zhuravka and Prokhody in Sumy region was not true.
