Kremlin gives Ukraine an ultimatum on negotiation

The spokesman for the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov said that the topic of elections in Ukraine is important for future negotiations.

He said this in a comment to Russian propagandists, Censor.NET reports.

"De jure, President Zelenskyy 's powers have expired. De jure, however, the situation is the same as President Putin has repeatedly stated in detail. This is an absolutely obvious legal reality that exists in Ukraine.

Therefore, of course, the idea of holding elections in Ukraine in terms of legitimizing the leadership, I want to remind you of Putin's recent statements that legitimization is necessary in terms of legal fixation of any agreements in terms of conflict resolution," he said.

Earlier it was reported that the United States wants Ukraine to hold presidential and parliamentary elections after a possible ceasefire agreement is concluded.
